Dove Racing, LLC

For three generations, Phillip and Harvey North have had a passionate interest in building custom, street-legal, high-performance vehicles.

In 2008 DRL teamed up with UK-based, exoskeletal mid-engined kit car fabricator Road Track Race (RTR), to represent their full line of kit cars in the US. This relationship proved to be extremely successful through the sale of dozens of RTR kits and satisfied customers in many states in the US.

Since 2008, DRL has built all the kits and is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the engineering, components, and assembly process. DRL has acquired many friends through its customer base in the US. DRL was instrumental in the engineering associated with the use of Focus 2.0 SVT engines and Getrag 6-speed transmissions in the Rocket and Sonic 7 kits, thus greatly increasing the performance of these cars. In 2015 DRL introduced the new generation 2.0 Ecoboost engine to the Rocket Classic, thus making it a real competitor to the Ariel Atom but at less than half the cost. In 2017 DRL imported the first Rocket 2 kit and installed a 220 hp 1.6 Ecoboost motor and Getrag 6 speed in it (sourcing a control package and intercooler kit to make this option available). Through this knowledge and experience, DRL is very qualified to assist our customers in all stages of the kit assembly process.

In 2015, RTR reorganized to become Exo Sports Cars (ESC) and relinquished its relationship with Mills Extreme Vehicles. ESC moved to new larger premises in Nottingham England but still employs the same skilled fabricators and craftsmen, with the same management and ownership. The original Sonic 7 and Atom kits are no longer available but ESC still is now producing the Mk 3 Rocket Classic as well as the exciting new Rocket 2. The SVE Trike, SVE Triabusa, SVE Exobusa, and newly introduced SVE XR1 and SVE Exotek are all available, as well as all the optional parts. DRL continues to fully represent ESC in the US, selling the kits and optional parts and supporting our customers as we have done since 2008.

DRL has operations in northwest Arkansas, Utah, and Montana
